About Jessica Chitumalla, APRN
Jessica Chitumalla’s journey in medicine began with a personal diagnosis of Type 1 Diabetes at age 11—an experience that ignited her lifelong passion for nursing and patient care. By the age of 23, she earned her Associate of Science in Nursing and began her career on a cardiology floor, where a pivotal encounter with her future husband, Dr. Chitumalla, inspired her to pursue a specialization in nephrology.
In May 2011, Jessica completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While raising two young children, she continued her educational journey and went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing and certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in September 2014.
Jessica has been a valued member of the Ocala Kidney Group since 2012, where she continues to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with kidney disease. Her personal and professional experiences uniquely position her to support patients with empathy, dedication, and clinical expertise.
