About Rebekah Costello, APRN
Rebekah Costello is a Nurse Practitioner with over 30 years of healthcare with experience that began as a certified nursing assistant at the age of 16 in a nursing home. Even at that young age she knew that she was meant to aid people back to their best health. She started her nephrology background as a hemodialysis technician in 1997 obtaining her certification and then growing into a Registered Nurse in Northern Indiana. She has a well-rounded background that also includes General surgery, Emergency Room, Medical Intensive Care Unit, Trauma/Medical Progressive Care units all as a Registered Nurse. She obtained her Nurse Practitioner degree in 2021 from Chamberlain University and has experience in primary care and functional medicine, establishing an excellent foundation for working with Ocala Kidney Group. She started with OKG in 2023 rounding at the outpatient dialysis units and in 2024 started as a hybrid NP working in not only the dialysis units but also working in the hospital and office seeing patients. She continues to build her knowledge in continuing education and advancing her knowledge to better care for her patients.
Rebekah has 3 sons, a husband and her mother that keeps her very busy here in Ocala. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and jumping on her Harley and riding. Her greatest contributors to her as a professional is her grandparents Orville and Judy as well as a Bonnie a Nurse practitioner who inspired me to be kind to all and that each of our journeys is meant to help others.
